QuintoAndar, the largest housing platform in Latin America, announces the strengthening of its executive team with the appointment of two new Group leaders in Latin America: Marco Mordehachvili (CFO) and Rafael Castro (CPO). The move reflects the company’s continuous investment in leaders with a strategic vision in key areas for solid growth in a constantly evolving market.

With over a decade of experience as an investment director at Farallon Capital Management in São Paulo and London, Marco Mordehachvili joins QuintoAndar with the mission of leading the company’s financial management and strategy as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). For him, the business model, competitive advantages, and long-term trajectory place QuintoAndar in a privileged position, where the next steps include growing faster and exceeding budget expectations.
To drive technological innovation and product development, QuintoAndar announces Rafael Castro as Chief Product Officer (CPO). Castro’s leadership represents a key moment in developing solutions based on high-level technologies, such as artificial intelligence, always focused on meeting the needs and delighting customers and partners in the ecosystem. The executive has already led Software Engineering teams at the proptech for over four years and previously worked at Google for 14 years.
Marco and Rafael join Lucas Lima, Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Ana Pellegrini, Chief Legal Officer (CLO), who were already part of the company’s executive team and are also taking on new roles. “QuintoAndar was born as a disruptive startup and, today, having impacted over two million customers with a new housing model, our maturity and soundness position us among the largest technology players in Latin America, with large-scale operations, sophisticated governance, and a culture that remains driven by innovation and customer focus,” says Gabriel Braga, co-founder and CEO of QuintoAndar. “Investing in people with a long-term strategic vision is an essential step to sustain this trajectory and expand our impact.”

Marco Mordehachvili | CFO of QuintoAndar
Marco Mordehachvili is the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) of QuintoAndar. With a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and an MBA from the London Business School, Marco leads the company’s financial strategy. Prior to QuintoAndar, Marco was an Investment Director at Farallon Capital Management, where he worked for over 10 years in São Paulo and London, leading numerous private equity and credit transactions. Marco has also served on the boards and committees of several companies and, early in his career, worked as a Private Equity Associate at Gávea Investimentos.
Rafael Castro | CPO of QuintoAndar
Rafael Castro is the CPO (Chief Product Officer) of QuintoAndar. With a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Campinas and a postgraduate degree in Cryptography from the same university, Rafael has helped the company position itself at the forefront of technological innovation. Before QuintoAndar, he worked for almost 15 years at Google, where he led teams at Google MyBusiness and Google Family Link and participated in major projects such as Play Store and Android.
Lucas Lima | COO of QuintoAndar
Lucas Lima is the COO (Chief Operating Officer) of QuintoAndar. With a degree in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais and an MBA from Harvard University, Lucas leads the company’s entire operations, being responsible for executing the strategy and business results across all fronts. Before QuintoAndar, he was VP of Operations at Wildlife and Associate Partner at Bain&Company.
Ana Pellegrini | CLO of QuintoAndar
Ana Pellegrini is the CLO (Chief Legal Officer) of QuintoAndar. With a degree in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and postgraduate and specialization degrees from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and the universities of Berkeley and Stanford, Ana is responsible for the Legal, Public Policy, Privacy, M&A, Corporate & Governance and Compliance teams. In addition to being an angel investor in several companies, she is a member of the Advisory Board of Hospital Albert Einstein and, before joining QuintoAndar, she worked at Uber, where she led the Legal and Diversity and Inclusion teams
